About the event
GunSense NH, a project of Granite State Progress, hosted a powerful first Guns to Gardens event this past June.
Guns to Gardens provides an opportunity for Granite Staters to remove unwanted firearms from circulation by repurposing them into gardening tools and other items which are more useful, and less harmful, to our community. During our inaugural event co-hosted by GunSense NH, the NH Council of Churches, and the Kent Street Coalition, Guns to Gardens removed 31 unwanted firearms from circulation, including an AR-15. Along the way, we generated local, state, and national media coverage and had meaningful conversations with community members about creating safe communities where we all can live and thrive.
We are excited to bring Guns to Gardens back to New Hampshire for a second year, and we'd love your help!
