About the event
Greetings!
Joy and peace to you this beautiful Spring! The "Annual" Retired Luncheon sponsored by the Prudential Committee of the New Hampshire Conference United Church of Christ has not gathered since 2019! COVID interrupted many activities, changed our relationships, introduced Zoom meetings and even worship! BUT this year The Prudential Committee is once again inviting all authorized ministers who have served in and on behalf of the United Church of Christ, along with their spouses/partners to a special luncheon. All are invited to this year's Retired Clergy Luncheon on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Havenwood Heritage Heights. (The Facility is fully handicapped accessible!)
149 East Side Drive,
Concord, NH 03301
(The Venue is called Tad’s Place)
What we have missed over the past four years, is a blessed opportunity to gather with colleagues, share memories, enjoy a delicious meal, honor our retirees who are marking significant ministerial anniversaries, and most of all celebrate the spirit of God in our midst. This year we are honored to welcome our partners in ministry, a delegation from Zimbabwe, our keynoters!
If you are new to the New Hampshire Conference and have not visited our Conference Center and Offices in Pembroke, you are invited to a tour following our meal. The Conference Center is not far from Havenwood Heritage Heights!
We also ask you to alert us, if you are aware of retired UCC clergy or widows/widowers, who have moved to New Hampshire in recent months and may not be on our mailing list. The Retired Clergy Luncheon is for ALLretired clergy spouses/partners, regardless of whether their standing is held by one of our Associations. We want everyone to attend!
We look forward to welcoming you in person as we gather on June 22nd.
Blessings,
Rev. Dale A. Hempen
On behalf of the Prudential Committee
